When I shoot with my Nikons and Sony cameras, I usually put on Flexible Spot: Focus Area Manual, or AF-C, single point on Nikon. When I am framing and composing, it allows me to use the joystick to move the autofocus point wherever I want without having to press a button. On the 1DX Mark II, it seems I have to press the button I have circled:

The AF system on the 5D Mark IV is also more expansive โ with 16 additional AF points over the 6D Mark II. Both are equipped with Dual Pixel AF for use when recording video. Both have a useful variety of ports, WiFi and GPS built-in, and touchscreen LCDs (though the 6D Mark IIโs LCD screen fully articulates).
Recompose the shot and try to focus again or see Difficult subjects for AF (Auto Focus) (EOS 7D Mark II). If [ Beep] is set to [Disable], the beeper does not sound when focus is achieved. After achieving focus with One-Shot AF, you can lock the focus on a subject and recompose the shot. This is called Shooting with Focus Lock (EOS 7D Mark II
The 6D has a very basic AF system. The 5Ds has one of the most complex and configurable AF systems of any camera on the market. It is more or less the same system used in the 1D X, the 5D Mark III, the 7D Mark II, the 1D X Mark II, and the 5D Mark IV.
