Location: Posted November 20, 2007. Timing belts should be changed every 60K miles (or every 5 years). Genuine belts have a sticker which is normally attached to the timing cover stating the date/mileage they were changed. AFAIK both engines are 'non-interference' so a broken belt would not damage the engine anyway.
2445 posts · Joined 2012. #3 · Jan 19, 2013. In Canada it says you have to replace the engine coolant at 160,000 km, or 120 months. After that it is to be replaced every 80,000 km or 60 months. I presume which ever comes first. And for the inverter coolant system the frequency is the same.
