The easiest beginner classes are warrior, ranger and necromancer. Choose the one that resonates with you the most. With that being said, each class is unique and has it's own pros and cons. Dont be afraid to choose a class that isn't "easy" and just go with what feels right to you.

In a way, the Revenant could be seen as a Shaman/Skaldic figure. Link to comment Easy burst. Go practice on the golems. Build up life force and then go into shroud for the burst. It can teach some great pvp skills if you find you love the game mode. You will learn not to die. You can swing so many team fights as a reaper, but only if you are alive to win them.
